SMALL Base Set

Small Base Set is the center of the part of an ethanol recovery system without the required heating and vacuum sources. The components can be used together as an ethanol recovery system, in combinations as vacuum chambers, or individually in the kitchen or lab.

The small set has a processing capacity of 300-1,000 ml and runs at about 1,000 ml per hour. The in-process direct feed increases the processing capacity to almost 2 L.

SMALL Base Set Includes:

Loading Vessel Lid (LVL)

Custom designed: 1/2" thick tempered glass, silicone seals, 304 stainless steel fixtures.

10 mm straight barb fitting, 2" gauge, 1/4" barbed ball valve for an in-process feed or vacuum break.

Fits pots with diameters of 6.75" to 7.75"

Loading Vessel (LV) Hybrid Pot

3-ply 304 stainless steel with hybrid honeycomb and non-stick coating cooking surface.

Induction heating (IH) compatible.

No Handles to get in the way or compromise vacuum.

Extended, easy-to-grip, easy-pour rim.  No mess pouring.

1.8L, 7” (18 cm) diameter.

Torr-nado Ladder Condenser:

The most designed to be simple but complex component I know of. Differential pressure flow, cooling, phase change, and liquid flow dynamics are balanced using gravity in concert with our unassuming “torr-nado ladder.” Custom 304 stainless hardware features 1/4” barb hose connectors inside and out for easy connection.

It’s almost embarrassing how simple this looks, but make no mistake, much thought went into the minutia, and this simple guy ain’t so simple.

Recovery Vessel Lids (RVL)

Custom designed: 1/2" thick tempered glass, silicone seals, 304 stainless steel fixtures.

8 mm straight barb fitting, 2" gauge, 1/4" barbed ball valve.

Fits pots with diameters of 6.75" to 7.75"

Recovery Vessel (RV) Stainless Pot

2.2 mm, 3-ply 304 stainless steel with polished mirror finish inside and out. 

Induction heating (IH) compatible.

No Handles to get in the way or compromise vacuum.

Extended, easy-to-grip, easy-pour rim.  No mess pouring.

Transfer Tubing

3/8" ID tubing: LVL to condenser. 
1/4" ID tubing: Condenser to RVL.
