Base Set: Flow Port & Gauge (two sizes available)

Base Set with Flow Port features patent-pending, game-changing vacuum lid connection technology that greatly simplifies design while substantially improving usability and production flow. The Flow Port integrates vacuum delivery, vapor transfer, and vacuum release in one unit using a single hole.

The set includes the Flow Port loading vessel set, Torr-nado Ladder Condenser, and  recovery vessel set components of the Torr Kitchen Vacuum Still. The components can be used together as an ethanol recovery system, in combinations as vacuum chambers, or individually in the kitchen or lab.

Torr-nado Ladder Condenser
Differential pressure flow, cooling, phase change, and liquid flow dynamics are balanced using gravity in concert with our unassuming “torr-nado ladder." Custom stainless hardware with 1/4” barb hose connectors inside and out for easy connection.

The smaller 2 gallon size is designed to match with with the small set and the 5 gallon for the large set.

2.2 mm, 3-ply 304 stainless steel with polished mirror finish inside and out. 

Induction heating (IH) compatible.

Transfer Tubing
3/8" ID tubing: LVL to condenser. 
1/4" ID tubing: Condenser to RVL. 
!! tubing has 125F temp limit under vacuum. If run too hot, it will collapse and replacement tubing will be necessary.

IMPORTANT NOTE
For the base set to run it requires an appropriate heat source and vacuum source. DO NOT use without understanding what heat and vacuum sources are appropriate. The IH Heating Unit and Diaphragmatic Vacuum Pump offered by Torr Kitchen were specially customized to work with this set.
