Quick-connect devices act as inline connect/disconnect and vacuum termination points. When disconnected, connectors without valves allow vacuum pressure to equalize. This is ideal on the pump side, helping it relax when not running. Connections with valves maintain vacuum pressure even when released.
Simple connection: A hose from a chamber can be easily connected to a hose on the pump without having to pull the hose off a barb each time. It can save wear and tear on lids.
Backflow valve use: To use a chamber and maintain vacuum with an open port a short tube and valve will hold without connection. This is also very useful when hunting leaks and isolating a component.
Step Down connector: For use joining the larger and smaller tubing. For example, using the LVL Flow Port using 3/8" ID tubing directly to the pump using 1/4" ID tubing.
